"A Christmas Carol" starring Jim Carrey Opening in Singapore cinemas 19th November 2009
[ EXCLUSIVE MOVIE INVITATION OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN 3D SPONSORED FROM OMY.SG ! ]
Was very happy when i got a reply from OMY.sg !
I was chosen of the chosen 30 bloggers to watch the exlcusive movie preview of Christmas Carol in 3D at Marina Square, Golden Village! excited excited *!
After receiving the email, called my sister up immediately and ask her if she wants to join me for this 3D movie. Called her along because this is her ever first 3D effect movie she ever watch, so decided to call her along since i can bring a friend along. :)
9th November
Met my sister and rush to cityhall right after my UT.
Caught up with twins at cityhall as well because JQ got chosen for the movie preview as well! So all of us, went to catch the movie together! haha.
Collected the movie tix, attached to a very nice invitation card by Golden Village and also comes with a free pull out bookmark!
Was welcomed by the early feel of Christmas when queuing and waiting to enter into the cinema.
Dry ice was positioned near the xmas tree as well! more white xmas feel! ohyes, did i mention about the Christmas Carolling in the background? There was a small group of people singing Christmas Songs! Make me feel as if, it is Christmas already althought it is only Mid-november! haha. Thumbs up for the decorations!
We reach there early, people started to swamp in, waiting for the tix gates to be open to enter the cinema! Us,girls were so excited at the time, i swear! hahah.
Upon entering the theater, we all surprised with the goodie bags placed nicely on our seats and ready for us to grab and hug them!!hahah. Especially that beautiful jar of candies and chocolates! cheeers*
The movie was good. Story line a little wee bit confusing, did not get what was going on during the flash back of the characters. But, indeed, the actor and voice of the main character is Jim Carrey !
It was the 3d effects that made the movie value-added! there were snow scene whereby, i totally felt that i was in the movie as well, i literally held up my hand in the midst of the movie and grab those falling snow flakes! haha,stupid or dumb you call me, but it was really enjoyable!
Getting a bird's eye view of the whole town by flying 3D-ly ! awesome~! hahha! Alot of motions were involve in this movie. Nevetheless, i really got entertained by the movie.

Charles Dickens' timeless tale of an old miser who must face the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet-to-Come, as they help bring kindness to his otherwise cold heart. The Ghosts remind him of the man he used to be, the hard truth of what the world is today, and what will happen if he does not strive to be a better man.
Set around Christmas, the most joyous day of the year, Scrooge realizes the sharp contrast of his own personality. Jim Carrey plays four separate roles in this updated version of "A Christmas Carol." Carrey portrays Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come). Robert Zemeckis ("Back to the Future" trilogy) has his chance to dabble in telling a story through the windows of time, as he directs the long-awaited remake.
After the movie, all of us we went back to take pictures with the cardboard posters of " A Christmas Carol." Was caught by the omy.sg crew to do a short interview about the movie. kanjiong*

Part II[Saturday,Kahpoh's 18th]
Dimples!
Saturday 31st October- Trip to Jurong Point
Got ready chocolates for qy that were brought back bro from Adelaide.
Everyone loves fredo the Cadbury Choc Frogg! :D
After popping by Jp to meet marcus and kah poh for dinner, feels like a double date at the time, when back qy's home to wait for bro to come pick me up. Recalled watching 3 soccer matches with qy. -.-
Was so bored and decided to grab Junior boy to be in our pik! Look he can even pose for the camera! hahhaa!
And, this cutelooking fella can be soo soo cute at times, but he was so naughty on saturday. guess what he did? When no-ones watching on him, he climbed up on to the dinning table, stole and swapped up half a can of "bah teng" (pork) and finish up approx 1/2plate of luncheon meat cooked by ah ma. idiot. He was so guilty when qy walloped and scolded him.
Signs of being guilty. He will always react and push his blanket away when i cover his head, but that time, no. hahha!

Sunday 1st November - Happy 18th to KahPoh !
Yellow daisies partnered with a birthday cookie from Famous Amos. Hope you like the present, althought it is alittle bit last minute, haha. :)

[Fetish for cupcakes, cupcakes and more cupcakes!]
Was doing Web and New media communications today in school. Was looking up images on cupcakes for my team's mockup website, found many mouth watering sweet-looking cupcakes!
Moreover, it was this morning when i found the piks, imagine how hungry can i be! Unfortunately, no cupcakes for me, allergy causing food!only can see cannot touch, boooo~.
can someone bake cupcakes that doesnt contain vanilla essence and make it taste just like the normal cupcakes? I'm willing to be your first customer! haha

[Bentos & Birthdays! Part I]
Apologies for not updating, i lied to you guys! IM SORRRY! Gosh, bet my analytics for this week has dropped tremendously.
Was supposed to update yesterday but i was so so sleeepy. So, lets make the piktures do the explainning..
Saturday 24th October - Joe's 17th and Rayson's 19th birthday bash.
Got dad's permission to stay out late to celebrate both Joe's and Rayson's birthday. Met up with qy around afternoon.Woke up at 930 to prepare Sushi bento for him! Mom was out of the country with dad, meaning no-one to assist me or guide me on how to make sushi !
Did not have any hardcopy recipe on hand, so search up on the net on how to make sushi.pathetic! i know. right, so this wasnt the worse part..
The worse part was, i found a bag of japanese right in the kitchen cabinet, i thought it was usable, so was quite happy about it. The moment, i opened the bag, rice weevils started to crawl out! and its not a few, its MANYYYY! eeeeee~
So just have to head down to NTUC to get a new bag of rice. yay!

Qingyuan says: mmm, nice nice. but the rice so hard? Me : FAIL. eh, but look nice hor! Qingyuan : okay la, not bad. i like! Me : hoho, okay! :D
Afterwhich, before heading down to Boat Quay, had Mcdonad's. Was issued this Monopoly boardgame. Addicted! but its impossible to keep eating Mac for that, as what my brother had said, it will only get our artillaries clogg up!haha!
Plan to meet the whole group at about 10pm at Boat Quay i think, in e end, everyone reach there before me and qy, got there around 12am. Anything blame qing yuan k, dont blame me!HAHA!

Was looking through my photos folder found out that Baby look damn cute in this picture with his dimples!HAHAH. Last satuday went to Lewis's Uncle pub at Boat Quay to celebrate Rayson 19th Birthday.

[Coraline; School; Ahyuan ]
HAHH-ROWW EVERYONEEE! its already the 3rd week of semester two for me,time pass darn fast. Getting along well with new classmates, dont feel anymore awkward-ness among the class already, which is a good thing!
Weekends are still my all time favourite. Alrightey, lets do a back track to rewind what i've been up to for the past week and this week.
Saturday 17 October. [Town with ah yuan.]
Been sometime since we really went town to pat-tor. not really pat-tor la, he just became my part-time shopping khaki. haha!
We were too tired from all the walking and saturday-crowd, so we didnt manage to walk the whole of ION.Dined at this mini Japanese restaurant, then headed home to catch liverpool match with ah yuan.
Tuesday 20th October. [Coraline 3D Preview thanks to OMY.com and Jq for the invitation.]
Awesome movie if you love cartoon animations. I think this movie is best watch in 3D, because it adds value to the moviee!
Was very very excited the moment we got collected the free tix from omy booth. Our very first 3D movie in our life. call us pathetic! but yah, the experience was great, i swear!
The moment the staff personel of Cathy issued us the 3d specs, i was like " do we need to return the specs?" because, i heard some movie allow viewers to bring home theirs! So, gotta return at the end of the movie for this situation. sadded. oh well, not as if im bringing home and wear it, just for the fun and keeping as a memory!
Was really talking on the phone, not prop hor. haha!
Just at the start of the movie, me and jq was super excited that we were grabbing each other subconciously!HAHA!

Next movie, My sister's keeper. :)
Today, Thursday 22nd October. [DMA, Digital Media Arts module!]
Love this module! Got to learn stuff like Photoshopping ; editing of photographs, various function of a DSLR camera and more photographs to be taken. cheers*!
